Regarding Members of Parliament:

1. A Member of Parliament (MP) is defined as a Citizen who has registered as a voter
2. To register to vote, a Citizen must meet an activity requirement, as defined in the Member of Parliament Standards Act
3. Tying current activity to political participation is important, in order to avoid becoming like the Federal Worker’s Cooperative of Carson

Regarding Political Parties:

1. This Act is agnostic to the existence of political parties. This means that while political parties can exist, they are not required within the legislative process.
